Our very own Steve Ensminger. 746 yards vs. Rice in a 77 -0 blowout in the late 70’s.

With Steve’s sense of humility and team first spirit, he would clarify that he was the Co-starting QB with David Woolley (God rest his soul), and it was a team record, not a QB record.

Mark it...hope Steve will be congratulating Joe Burrow late Sat night for breaking it against Arkansas.

I personally hope that Burrow isn’t playing in the second half. We should be up by 40 pts by then.

Can you imagine the melt on here on the score board if Arkansas is able to score on us and keep it close?

LSU will not cover the spread this game.

I don't think Joe is going to surpass 700 in one half. Cause he ain't playing when we get up by 30

They are definitely going to score. Not enough to keep it close though.

What do these teams have in common?
Grambling state
Nicholls state
Houston Baptist
Midwestern state

They held Northwestern to less points than we did

Give me a break. LSU has a Heisman winner playing about once every 50 years and instead of wanting to enjoy watching him play, you want to bench him for Myles Brennan who hasn't even gelled with the receivers yet cause only one QB at a time can be gelled with the receivers.

So, therefore, you want to bore all of the rest of us LSU fans to death. As Myles playing against Arkansas next Saturday will not miraculously somehow make him better. All it will do is instead, is bore the LSU fan based to death. So go fly a damn kite.

Man...you loons hate watching an inevitable Heisman winner. You all want to bench him as soon as possible to watch Myles Brennan who is not even gelled with the damn receivers.

Yeah, right, let's put the Heisman winner on the bench and let someone else play. Nobody wants to watch a Heisman winner play at LSU anyway. As we can watch him play all we want when he gets to the NFL, as opposed to at LSU.

You'll understand that he should come out to stay healthy the moment you realize that the Heisman Trophy is not the end all for even Joe Burrow. So nobody gives a damn about him ONLY winning the Heisman.

You think Saban is getting heat. Let Burrow get hurt playing possibly the worst power 5 team in the last 10 years

You say, "you loons" like it doesnt apply to yourself. I would argue that it clearly applies to you before most.

Nobody is saying to play Brennab because we dont want to see Burrow. There is absolutely no reason to keep Burrow in there once there is a comfortable lead.

Best chance at record is putting in second string and letting them play vs leaving Joe in to hand off to CEH, milk the clock, and not run up the score.

The best situation is Brennan getting in the second half and throwing for 250+yards and 2+ TDs. This will show that it's not just Burrow, it's the system that is working so well.....along with Brady and Coach E.

He should be permitted to rack up the stats he wants to his heart's desire. As it is only about once every 50 years that LSU is fortunate enough to produce a Heisman winner. And if he is afraid to get hurt, like you obviously are, then he should go playing checkers or backgammon. Go fly a kite, you miserable human-being.
