I'm sure it will get breezy in a couple days. Take care of yourself with the storm threat.

You too BBT. My dad is up in Jupiter smack in the middle of the cone of death. Fortunately, he'll be hunkering down with me in West Broward.

More often than not, it's too hot for gumbo. In fact, unless it's after October and before March 15, it's too hot for gumbo.

I can eat gumbo any time of day or year

ETA: just don’t tell this board that you put tomatoes in your gumbo. That will make this go 15 pages

Are you eating outside?

I make my gumbo and eat it inside with the A/C rolling.

I made a big pot on Saturday. My wife won't eat it after 2 days. I've had gumbo for lunch every day this week. I actually plan it that way. Just finished the last bowl about half an hour ago. And it's 90 degrees and humid as frick here in South Florida.

Man I’m right there with you. I never cook less than three gallons, sometimes five in order to share some. I will it eat every single day until it’s gone. I’ve been known to eat it for breakfast.

One time I made seven gallons. Gave two away, brought one to work to share, and wife and kids ate around one and a half. Over the course of eight or nine days I literally ate about two and a half gallons. When it was all gone I wasn’t sick of it. I was wishing I had more.

Right with you on this one too although I prefer hail. Not independent but travel the country for it. Maybe I’ll see you down that way, unless I stay put right here for it. Stay safe.
