DE - Neal
DT - Godchaux
DT - LaCouture
DE - Clark
Gilmore is going to start over LaCouture later, but game 1 is above.

DE - Bower

It'll be interesting to see where Steele and Orgeron go when we line up in an odd front though.

I would almost hope that Valentine, Lela?, and Thomas could do the job at DT. Both Lacouture and Godchaux could trim back down to about 275 and play DE. I know this probably isn't going to happen, but both of these guys could run when smaller and it gives us more physical strength at the point of attack. I hate to see us rush Teuhema and Clark although I know both have played already; they are both kind of light.

I don't know who will start, but with Coach O their arse's better be in shape cause he don't play with that BS.

Wow didn't realize we had that much talent.

Don't have quality depth at DE AT ALL

Godchaux IS a veteran now.

Valentine in a walk. LaCouture will be solid dependable depth.

Expect plenty rotation for fresh bodies of dominance

LMAO - we need some form of an agreement on what to call him.

Gimore and Herron were 2 5Star recruits and it will be interesting to see their development and Bain also ,lot of potential and will see what they look like under Coach O. I think their all on ground ZERO, and what Coach Haley liked may not be what Coach O wants,no telling who the starters will be .Haley like gap control and O likes penetration he wants them in the back field meeting at the RB or QB

Actually that is what I wanted to write as starters- Valentine and Thomas with Godchaux, Lacouture, and Bain as primary backups in the interior

This dude can play the game, and looks good doing it. And he needs to stay at DT. I think he was the most impressive player on the D-line the entire year, as a freshman.
We just really need to start getting some penetration with just out front four, without bringing extra pressure.
Where are the Dorsey's and the Tyson Jackson's at? We need to up the sack count in big games. One sack can derail an entire series or possession lots of times.

DE doesn't have any much depth

Why Daylon Mack hasn't been mentioned.?

DL looks more deep and talented than it has been in years. Add in Ogeron and I see a big jump in improvement over what we have seen lately from the DL

In my opinion, we need to run a 3-4 with valentine at nt, backed up by QT..
then at de you put Godchaux and Lacouture to give them room to move..they have quickness off the ball.
then move Sione and Bowers at olb standing up
Garrett and Beckwith at ilb...stacked front seven and can fill guys in as needed.
This can best utilize the players we have

If he's a starter, then our d won't be dominant. Will be good, but it's need to be dominant. He is no where near what we've had when we've won SEC championships.
Agreed. Hell of a player and is needed in the rotation. But to play smas-hmouth sec west ball we are going to need a freaggin superstar DT like the days of old

if Locoture stays his whole 4 years, he will be that kind of superstar his senior season wrecking shite in the middle like Brockers. He is going to create problems for o-lines this coming season as well.

I think Clark is a more complete DE than Teuhema. I'd expect Clark in our legacy 4-3. However, Teuhema might stand up in a 3-4.
