I laugh at those saying jay was being forthright about this injury

Injury healing time isn't always an exact science. They are setbacks. They try to push themselves further in practice/rehab and realize they still aren't 100%, etc.

Maybe he was feeling better until he tried to go full and had soreness.

Some of our fans are slow as hell. The whole argument was about day-to-day and month-to-month. Four weeks doesn’t equal a month — a month is a 30-day period in this context. The DL example had nothing to do with the actual topic; it was just illustrating what a 30-day span looks like.

And please don’t act like you don’t understand why February has 28 days or what a leap year is. Comments like that just make LSU fans look dumb.

And this may be a benefit of the doubt stance for Jay if he didnt consistently do this with injured players. Its fine, he has his right to do it, but we can call it what it is.
But its a hand injury, not as tricky as a back. Its likely Stanfield has a hamate or slight break in the hand

Then why does February never have 30 days?

Ok, now we are arguing what constitues a month. I think we should probably try to stay on topic here.

I see you don't yet understand how Jay handles injury reports

You somehow managed to read a simple joke about “day-to-day vs month-to-month” and sprint in the complete opposite direction. Choupique19 and I were clearly joking — try reading the room before firing off the think piece.
Hence the Good Lord

The joke's on those speculating about LSU baseball injuries. Unbeknownst to them, Jay may classify players as "season-to-season" at times instead of the more common statuses.

I think when it first happened Jay said it was just a bruise or something? Maybe those fake LSU insiders (BSLSU) on Twitter were right when they said it was a fracture
