1. How was the sound system?

I’m in the NEZ right next to East and it sounds fine. Easy to hear and clear.

2. How was hte music selection?

It was great. I don’t know half the music but it kept the crowd energized and engaged.

3. How were the lights? 4. wrist band seems like a hit...if you bring them to another game will they work? What is the plan ?

Lights were AMAZING. Absolutely contributed to the atmosphere. Wristbands, music, lights, fireworks - very fun and made for an awesome time.

To a few comments that got made - the lights came on a lot more than a few seconds before the ready to play, and I think if it were causing trouble for opposing teams there would be coaches whining about it all over the place. It’s still pretty bright down on the field, it’s not like it was pitch black.

Second, the bands can be turned on and off now - the button on the side cycles through various colors and flashing/solid options, and one option is “off.”

I can’t imagine them doing this every game but I can see a few big night games a year - this year possibly Bama (if at night).

5. How was the food? Plenty of water? 6. Lines for bathrooms? 7. Security to get? how long did it take to get in?

I didn’t really notice any issues on food, water or lines.

Security - I walked straight in 40 min before kickoff. No line at gates 8-10.

Doubt we see the wristbands again since people started chunking them into the crowd.

More than just into the crowd.

On the TV broadcast, you could see 2 or 3 wristbands whizz by Tre Harris' head after he scored his TD.

, it sounded like the base was upgraded for sure,

To me this is not an improvement. I really don't have any other complaints about the stadium experience, but the teeth rattling bass is unpleasant verging on discomfort. The worst is in the hour leading up to the game so I've started timing it to get to my seat right at kickoff. It's not so bad during the game. At least there are intervals where it's not thumping all the time.

My only complaint was the sound system. I sat in section 100 about 20 rows up and could barely make out any music or anything. It was noticeably low and I usually hate loud music.

4. See 4, but probably won't see them again unless someone wants to pay for them.

Maybe for the Bama game, they'll have wristbands with Gordon's face on it

Was it just me or did yall notice a lot of empty seats in the second half in the lower level east sideline? Seemed to be a lot of people in that area leaving early. Which of all games it’s insane to leave that one early.

What song did the band play that got the STTDB chant going?

The student section chants it for pretty much anything the band plays during timeouts

I saw four guys in section 242 leave immediately after we scored to tie the game. Maybe they were in a hurry to look for unattended tailgate trailets.

Sound system sounds way better than before. Music sounds great.

Lights were incredible for Ole miss, they clearly sandbagged to really reveal them for this game.

They finally got the LED lights right where the purple was as colorful and intense as the gump red at BDS. It looked awesome. We are now in the big boy club of LED stadium lighting. The first few times we used it, it looked amateurish with way too much white light.

Don’t see them doing wrist band lights again. Giving a bunch of drunk college kids a projectile played out exactly like you would expect. Saw people down low getting hit left and right. Fortunately, they didn’t weigh much.

We have 3 big, beautiful, and expensive video boards, YET WE HARDLY SHOW ANY REPLAYS. Baffling and frustrating.

I know I wasn’t seeing things. Go back and watch the replay on TV. There were swaths of empty seats on the east sideline lower bowl.

I seriously do not understand how or why you would go through the hassle of fighting traffic, walking to the stadium, getting to your seats only to leave the game early when it’s a badass game like that was. Leave the money out of it because many of those seats are just tickets people were given from work family or a friend.
