I know, it’s not LSU related but seeing all of these top teams teams getting pushed to the limit is gratifying.

Isn’t St. Mary, theoretically, is suppose to be the last team in? Number 4 seed playing the number 1 team in their regional?

No they don't seed the 4 seeds like that. There are teams in the regionals with losing records.

one of the craziest opening days of regionals ever and only halfway thru. 1st time a #1 overall seed has lost regional opener since this regionals format was implemented

St Mary looked pretty good from what I saw earlier. They made a bunch of impressive diving stops in the infield and made very strong throws to get runners out at 1st.

If you go by RPI they are the 9th worst
