A very classy move. It’s what non-douchebags do. Many won’t get it.

It’s the other way around. LSU baseball fans sometimes act like St L or KC fans. St L fans were doing things like that decades before LSU

Lol. It was Albert Pujols first time back and he hit a bomb. Rightfully so.

Pujols was a Card for several years and was a huge part of their success. It’s too early on a Sunday to be a dumbass.

Name 1 single time when we cheered for an opposing team going yard. Dumbass thread.

Giving them a victory lap after advancing to Omaha?

You are right, that’s way worse

There really isn't a comparable situation, and there can't really be for college baseball.

But being an lsu fan and a cardinals fan, I can tell you that both fanbases are way too high on themselves and are generally dumber than they would have you believe.

Cardinal fans laugh at the front runner, fair weather fans that sit on their hands at the box.

The previous version of Busch Stadium used to be a loud, rockin' place where you could drink, smoke and drink. The fans in the current Busch Stadium more resemble those at a Tennis match.....with polite applause and tittering.

I'm not sure why this is bothering people so much. Pujols is a HOFer who won 2 World Series with the Cards. Those fans can appreciate him as much as they want.

Hell, White Sox fans gave fricking Melky Cabrera a standing ovation when he came back to Chicago after being traded to the Royals.

If we're still running with comparisons and including stadiums now, I say that the old Box was like Rosenblatt and Wrigley and the new Box is like TDA and Busch.

Except the old Box wasn't a dump like Wrigley.

Yeah it was classy, something most of this board knows nothing about.

Eh... The old Busch was better, but the new one has a constant buzz about it. Much better than the vast majority of ballparks out there.

St. Louis Cardinals are one of the best organizations in sports history.

And obviously some of the best fans also.

there are 162 baseball games and it’s June. Cheering a beloved former player for a single home run wont invalidate your fan-card.

Sometimes sports goes beyond the uniform.
