I’ve also seen 4 at bats and only know him as the St Johns 1B.

Jay better be at a podium answering questions if the guy isn’t in P&G before the portal closes.

Am I right?

If not I'm sure there will be a sternly worded email in his inbox.

What's crazy is that they have 39 regional appearances alltime. That's the same as Oklahoma and Miss State, and ahead of Arkansas, A&M, USC, North Carolina, etc.

They’ve had 4 coaches over 70 years. With the newest starting in 2020.

They don’t. They play in the Big East. Combine that with some good timing and ‘that’s baseball’ a few times, and wala, there you have it.

Yep. Back when the NCAA tournament was literally "regional", St. John's and Maine used to wreck shite in the Northeast and go to Omaha a lot. From 1976-1986, St John's or Maine went to Omaha 8 of the 11 years.

Fun fact: when LSU beat Maine in an elimination game in 1986, it marked LSU's first ever Omaha win and Maine's last appearance there.
