I'd rather Bama repeat as national spring game attendance champion. They are already making the tee shirts.

last year was bad weather and baseball game was going on. better weather = better attendance.

No Chance attendance exceeds recent years. Bunch of tickets maybe sold at $1 a piece, maybe 25K, but I doubt 15-18 K are in the stands. Of course LSU will inflate the numbers. Fan base feels program is in a downfall until 2012.

They must have thought it was really down in 2004, the year after our NC, when we had all of 10,194 fans.
I have no idea why some of you think we ever had good attendance at the spring games. The best attendance reported were the last two years when we had 30,000+. And those numbers are inflated as its paid attendance.

tiger fans love the spring game ,but I guess there is just to much going on around here

Maybe if the Delicate Genius's (LSUAD) would pull their heads out of their butts and actually market the game, it would be worth attending.
How about having an actual GAME at 7pm under the lights with the current team playing a team of LSU Alumni football players? That might put some arses in the seats.
A controlled scrimmage at 3pm will only attract the obsessive-compulsive local die-hards; same bunch that goes to the Recruiting Bash every year.
If the LSUAD doesn't care and will not put out just a little effort to market the game and put out a product that will entertain people, there's no reason to attend unless you live right there in BR or the immediate area. What else is there to do?......

The point of the spring game isn't to entertain fans and make money, it's for the football team.

So then a ton of current players couldn't play (which is what matters since this is practice) that get to now?
