All photos are first half pictures...

Mett warms up

Odell Beckham, Jr. makes a leaping catch in warm-ups ... a sign of things to come...

Mett throws a pass out to the flat

Eric Reid (in mid-jump) intercepts a Stephen Rivers pass

Eric Reid returning Rivers interception for a pick 6

Reid takes it to the house!

Eric Reid takes it across the stripe for six...

James Wright makes a fantastic diving catch between D.J. Welter and Jalen Collins

Jarvis Landry (80) pulls in Zach Mettenberger's first completion of the day (54 yards?). This play was met with an explosion of cheers as Tiger fans dreamed of what a vertical passing game would mean to the 2012 season.

Russell Shepard makes a nice fingertip grab in the left side of the North Endzone

Odell Beckham, Jr. reels in another catch deep in the red zone...

Spencer Ware slashes up the middle for a nice gain

Mett prepares to hand the ball off

Zach Mettenberger goes deep...

KeKe Mingo (49) puts solid pursuit on Jeremy Hill (33)

Brad Wing drills a punt deep into the White Team's territory

Kenny Hilliard runs wide on the White Team defense

Kenny Hilliard is helped out of bounds by Tharold Simon (24) ... Alfred Blue (4) seems to say, "You might want to move, Coach..."

Excellent photos, 85. Good photography skills on the action sequences. Just seeing Mett's form on his warm up photos gets me hyped. Great to see a technically sound delivery.

Allow me...

Looks like he was sitting probably 20-30 rows up, give or take.

Camera: Nikon D3000

Lens: 70-300mm (not sure of the brand, but probably not Nikon, although I could be wrong)

SST,

I was sitting on the 50 yard line in section 103 ... about halfway up (where the aisle going up forms a "T," if that means anything). A little further than halfway up, if you judged it by the entrance gates to the stadium as I was closer to the top one (about ten rows down from it) than the bottom one.

The images are cropped in Picasa.

It is a Nikon D3000 with a Sigma 70-300mm lens. I was shooting at 100 ISO on the sports setting. I am a middle school English teacher by trade, that being said, the camera did all the work.

Lucky So-n-So, How were you able to get the image data? Did you save the image and view the data through image editing software? Just curious... I did not know if the original data was stamped to the file or not. Still learning...

Thanks, Bayou...

I am a former yearbook sponsor for a high school here in Mobile ... hard to shoot and look at photos without thinking up those captions. Old habits die hard.

I am glad that you enjoyed them. :)

Great pictures! Thanks for taking the time and effort to post them here. It is going to be a long wait for September, I'm afraid.

It's called an "EXIF Reader"

Google Opanda Exif Reader and you can download a free program that gives all of the information if it is still embedded in the file.

I have that same Sigma lens. It is hit and miss, but zooms in pretty well.
