Name one industry that doesn’t have indirect kickbacks??
There are a lot of ‘scratch my back I will scratch yours’ deals out there in just about every single industry.

Electric car charging
Posted by SST on 1/3/19 at 9:27 pm
Any way to find out if the electric car charging spots are available at the New Orleans airport before driving over there?
I know they have parking spots designated to charge electric cars. Just didn’t want to make the drive there and not be able to charge if they are all occupied.

Taxes on selling land
Posted by SST on 8/31/17 at 8:30 pm
Bought land outright last year. Now want to divide it up and sell a piece of it.
Would I pay taxes on the sale?
If so what would be the rate?
Lastly any options on how to avoid paying such taxes or minimizing my tax burden.
Thanks

Did it with Lexus. Great car, not cheap but that car is still running 12 years later. However much better built. Not sure about GMC products due to build quality.

Recommend plumber in Baton Rouge
Posted by SST on 4/20/16 at 10:29 pm
Looking for a plumber to fix a broken shower handle. Won't shutoff. Took it apart through the wall and it seems to be one unit that is solid with the piping.
Thanks for the tip. Any other suggestions??
3. Maybe a couple of more.

Diversion canal
Posted by SST on 12/10/15 at 11:28 pm
Looking at buying some land on diversion canal. Wondering if anyone had any ideas on:
1. How much does bullhead cost per foot
2. How much to install a deck with a boat lift
3. The cost to raise the elevation of the land. I'm assuming hauling in dirt by the truck load.
Lot size is roughly 160 deep and 200 feet across on the water. need to elevate half of it about 6 feet.
Thanks for any info/resources.

Ski trip with kids
Posted by SST on 11/10/15 at 10:28 pm
Thinking about taking the two kids and wife to the slopes for the very first time. Kids are 4 and 6. Kids and wife have never been skiing. Wanted to get some ideas on where to go. Was looking at park city Utah. Didn't want to go to a destination too far from the airport. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!!
