So the Offense struggled, against what is claimed to be the best DC in football. Somehow this equals our offense sucks and has no chance. Now if the Offense would have killed it, everyone would be complaining the D sucks. It's a TRant dream game. LSU will lose and one side of the ball with look worse than the other.

I wouldn't say the offense struggled, they put quite a few points on the board.

The offense didn’t even struggle that much

It’s a wet dream because all of the QB’s played and the offense didn’t score 100 points, and the defense didn’t shut the O down. That means the team is in disarray and we’re gonna win 5 games next year

Who but the rant claims the LSU defense is the best in all of college football?

My favorite is when people use a game that's over 4 months away from the regular season to assess the teams upcoming performance.

A nightmare is more like it; just fuels the fire for the dummies.

I’ve been coming to the rant too long. I was in BFE with no service all weekend and driving back, I got a text from someone saying that Brennan didn’t look good.

I literally predicted what was being said on The Rant before I opened it and looked.

I was exactly right.

I don’t even like coming here anymore because people here are miserable as frick.

The rant has been infiltrated by a bunch of 18-22 year olds who think everything is either the best ever or the worst ever.

It’s this new generation of students. When we were posting while still at LSU we were much more level headed and rationale in our melts.

I used to come to the rant everyday, but now a few times a week mostly to frick at all the snowflakes.

How can you say the offense didn't struggle when their biggest play of the scrimmage would have been an in-game sack, all 3 passers were below 50% accuracy, third down conversion % was abysmal, and the offensive line struggled to get any consistent push while looking like a turnstile on the ends?

If the D wasn’t so putrid, the pitiful O would not have even made a first down. We will not win a game unless we play the walkons.

We just didn't look good on offense. All the expected problems were on full display.

The offenses put 55 points on the board and over 500 yards passing.

Brosette is not viable. The mediocre QB looked like the best one. A thousand WRs but how many can develop timing enough to get on the field? Bizarre tight I-forms in the red-zone that weren't successful. Seems we still need a pounding back and simply don't have it. O-line didn't excel tho against a tough defensive front. Nice to see sets with a lot of WRs on the field but nothing other SEC teams haven't seen before. The TE looked good.
