What was LSU ranked day before we played Alabama ?
I thought your ilk believe that only November matters...?

Earlier about "kicking arse and winning" that recruiting class last 3 years was #3, 5 and 6?
Which is why the FUTURE is so bright for this team. Championship teams don't rely on their redshirt sophomores and juniors to win games for them, they rely on senior leadership, which we haven't had.

Bottom line, you're (not your) a dumb arse.
That's probably the most accurate statement on this board, yet at the same time, it's still an understatement on how dumb he really is.

When in the last four years have we had the personnel to be a legitimate championship contender?
2012
2014 had a championship defense and all the same guys on the line but the worst offensive play calling of all time
2015 returned almost everyone and the offense slightly improved and the defense dropped off big time
Personnel has been there

Maybe if I were a LOOoNG time fan such as yourself id understand.
It's ok I get it.
Obviously it makes you feel better to name call and live in the past (which is all you've done) which in turn boosts your low self esteem.
I've stated numerous I like les miles.
You won't have it though, anything less than utter praise is unacceptable.
The message board life of a superfan.

2015 returned almost everyone? How young were we?
Posted on 1/27/16 at 4:46 pm to chilge1
Pretty sure LSU proved to us all this season that nov is all that matters
Derrick Henry certainly believes it.
Nobody has said or saying future is t bright.
I'll I'm saying is you're about to run out of excuses. Soon.

2012
Alfred Blue, Tahj Jones, Kwon Alexander, and Chris Faulk had season-ending injuries in addition to Tyrann Mathieu being kicked off the team and we were a T.J. Yeldon screen pass from an SEC Championship that year. Did we underachive?

This is a common misconception. It was actually one of our worst defenses in several years, but our offensive approach kept them off of the field for the majority of games.... we had Anthony Jennings as our starting QB and our WR corps had a combined 7 career receptions entering that season. And D.J. Welter was our starting MLB.

Slightly improved? We went from 80th to 39th in Total Offense and 76th to 43rd in Scoring Offense... We also had to find replacements for both starting DEs, Kwon Alexander, and 3/4 of our secondary from 2014.

So where we were ranked before we played Alabama doesn't matter?

Idk nor do I care anymore.
Next fall will be here soon enough.

Hey OP! Can we get an update of what happened on the damn segment?

LSU hasn't been getting the results on the field that many here expect and want. Every person working for a paycheck can get too comfortable. It was good thing what happened, there's zero bs spin at all here.
I love Les, but this is true. A program needs consistency, but it can also get complacent. I think Les was leaning towards that recently. November was a good slap in the face and I think the program is certainly more energized. Not that they were phoning it in, but I think there's a sense of urgency that we haven't seen in a while. Though it was a shite-show and handle terribly, Les and co. have really used it to their advantage. We are a better program for it, though in a much different way than intended. Les--and Alleva, frankly-should be commended for their handling of the aftermath.
