A coup?

You take this way too seriously and way too personal.

I can't respond logically to you bc you, for some reason have taken this to some other place that no one here is talking about.

Obv you're still angry that there are those that are fans of LSU that didn't want Les around anymore.
I wasn't one of those.
Get the frick over it, be mad somewhere else.

Shouldn't be surprising that the LSU fan base contains a large segment of morons.

Harris asked for it after an entire season??
Hardly conjecture as it was quoted by CLM and BH and first mentioned for the bowl game, afaik.

Also Miles has hired Chavis, Peveto, Mallory and Steele as DC. They were all established names. The last guy Miles brought in that was on the up and up was Pelini. So it's been out of his wheelhouse lately to go with a rising star.
I see your restricting "upstarts" to DC position as I was thinking Raymond, Wilson and others.
I'd say Aranda is more "established" than Malveto who were DCs at small schools. I think Miles learned a bit from that experience.

No one was talking about it at all until you hijacked the tread with your "fact" about Les Miles changing his act out of fear of being fired.

I, like some others, pointed out that you were on crack with that thinking and you've doubled down several times trying to establish your "fact".

The only facts illuminated by this thread are that LES MILES is the most successful coach in LSU History by any standard measure, you don't know what the hell you are talking about and we still don't have cliffs on the ESPN piece.

Dude really?

Are you really sitting here saying les miles and his staff didn't feel pressure from the way things went down last half of the season and had a "come to Jesus meeting" so to speak about changes.

You aren't this stubborn or stupid.
Of course they did.
That's all I'm saying

Hey MakinBacon, I've got to give it to you. Not many people double down on stupid but you sure have, and I for one, commend you for it.

The only change that was made was the AD ceasing to undermine the coaching staff.

I didn't advocate or suggest any firings.
Not one time.

You've reached the point now where you are all but admitting nothing in the LSU football program needed changing. Forget the record past 4 years.....All for the sake of not saying anything remotely negative towards LM.
Webster's should sign you up for the term homerism.
Post your pic.

I'm saying you have no freaking clue and Les Miles didn't just start doing a good job in November after some "come to Jesus meeting" that no one but you is aware of. Les Miles started doing a good job for LSU in January, 2005 and hasn't stopped.

He's had ups and downs like any coach or program and since (not sense) CNS wound up in Tuscaloosa he has been held to a completely unfair and unreal standard by many in our fan base. Which, apparently included our dumbass AD, who has a history of making kneejerk, dumbass and disloyal moves toward his successful athletic programs.

But you act like the #1 recruiting class and hiring of Aranda, etc... happened because he gots the fear of gawd in him when the attempted ousting (also called a coup attempt by some) took place. We HAD the #1 class BEFORE that happened and he TRIED to hire Aranda last year, when he also hired EAUX so the wheels for our current situation have been in motion far longer than November, he just needed King Alexander to see the light and tell Alleva to STFU and get out of the way.

Party on!
