nice try changing the topic like we werent talking specifically about offense.
show me where i said anything about losing to Southeastern.i said they shut our offense down for large portions of the game. backed up by 3 1st downs and 63 yards in the 2nd half.

show me where 2015 had less than 400 yards against a mid major

So pointing out a win is a classic cultist response.

Not this.

Making excuses for an obvious fricked up system

Both Auburn and MSU were far from top ten teams.

As if this board needed more proof that you’re a complete clown. Advanced metrics are “poor” because you disagree with the results.

Only a fool would have MSU and Auburn in the top ten.

Fool.

It isn’t an excuse, it’s an attempt to explain what may have happened with that particular game based on the methodology.

Honest question, do you believe upsets can and do happen, or is every team that wins a game assumed automatically better than the team they beat?

What is your 2019 top 10?

The methodology has some very obvious holes. I dont know why this is so sacred to you.

This is what it looks like when you try and belittle a fact based argument using only your opinion. You’re forced into making up shite about the highly regarded advanced metrics being used because they’ve utterly dismantled your opinion-based stance.

Lesson of the day: Don’t be a dumbass and try to argue using only your opinion. Don’t be like Roger.

Also, I cannot wait until you try and use S&P+ to back a stance at a later date.

Cannot.Wait

fact based argument

Theres nothing fact based here. We are discussing methodology that includes self admitted subjective components.

Do you believe Auburn and MSU were two of the best teams in college football last year.

Fact based would be a 5 loss team wasnt the 4th or 5th best team.in the country last year.

You’ve been hammered to the point that you’re making shite up about the actual metrics to try and “win” the argument because your stance was MOAB’d into oblivion.

He says himself the revised metrics are weighted for several subjective criteria.

Yes. But it came out of a Computer, and used Analytics, sprinkled with Algorithms, and was devised by a Mathematician.

How could you question this, Roger? How could you, Sir?

No. I’m calling you a joke of a human being who’s so obsessed with winning an internet argument that you’re furiously trying to discredit one of the most highly regarded advanced metric systems that there is for football.

Was that not clear?

No system is perfect and I don’t use S&P exclusively for my betting purposes.

The point you’re not getting here, or intentionally ignoring more than likely, is that even with S&P’s real or perceived faults it’s still more accurate, objective, and detailed than anything you’ve offered up here today.

I’m patiently awaiting your top 10.

Its stunning how sacred these people hold a methodology that's marginally effective as a predictor and puts two 5 loss teams in the top ten

What’s so funny is when we talk about beating good teams and good wins for coaches you never hesitate to mention Orgerons “top 10” victories over bad teams like Auburn or Miami when those rankings came from nothing but opinion. I love how your lot have no shame using double standards and being hypocrites every single day.

Auburn was a good win, Jethro.

It was not vs a top ten team

Miami had a helluva offense, the rest of the team sucked.

You have no clue what your spazzing about.

Were Auburn and MSU top ten teams?
