No. I’m calling you a joke of a human being who’s so obsessed with winning an internet argument that you’re furiously trying to discredit one of the most highly regarded advanced metric systems that there is for football.
We. Are. Not. Worthy.

“Miami had a helluva offense, the rest of the team sucked.
You have no clue what your spazzing about. “
Lmfao if you only knew how ignorant and ironic this very statement was but people like you don’t travel outside of their bubble so how could you? Miami’s offense sucked and they had one of the best defenses in the country so not only are you once again wrong, what you said was the exact opposite of fact.

It's awesome for compiling statistics
It's got awful holes in interpreting those statistics. It's the only system that had 2 five loss teams near the top.
Uga/Lsu/clemson/Michigan, top 4
OU
Florida
Oregon
ND
Washington
Ohio State.

Sorry I meant defense. It was top 5

Just be consistent, if you’re gonna holler and cheer over opinion polls you can’t attack someone for siting fact based poles. They both have holes everything does, if that wasn’t the case every sporting event would be chalk and we’d have no reason to watch at all.

What's factual about ranking MSU in the top ten last year and this year where they lost a QB and two stellar defenders?
You dont think hes got some weighting happening?

This thread needs to end......

So basically your position is if you don’t agree with something it’s wrong. Fine if that’s the way you think but at least be smart enough to admit that isn’t very pragmatic or logical.

Just wait till I get my copy of Phil Steele’s mag.... then I’ll show ya.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but Michigan St returned 92% of production for the 2018 season, tops in college football last season.
So if you want a reason as to why they were top 10-ish, it's because they're a pretty solid program that returned almost everyone.

And sucked... which is very surprising.....

Also shows you that there isn't an absolute correlation between returning production and improved results.
Posted on 6/21/19 at 6:30 pm to Goldrush25
Michigan State is one of the programs who under achieve when they’re supposed to be good and surprise when they’re supposed to be down. Much like Auburn.

Probably because they dont have much talent to begin with
Unlike LSU.
There will always be outliers.

Do you believe Auburn and MSU were two of the best teams in college football last year.
You didn't ask me and I personally don't think they were, but I'm curious what you think about it.

That doesn't explain why they actually performed much worse than the year before.

But that’s the thing, idgaf about rankings at all, I think they’re nothing but fan fodder. To me there are stages to advance during a season, win your division, win your conference and if you haven’t had slip ups to bad teams you’ll likely get into the playoffs. The rankings mean shite and are so biased and crooked why waste time with em. My point to roger was if you’re gonna use LSUs #6 poll ranking and opponents pre-season rankings to defend everything about the season you can’t dismiss other opinions based on rankings just because you don’t like the makeup of the polls they’re using. That’s hypocrisy and using a double standard plain and simple.

It’s all about what you do with what you have...... I think LSU will be better on offense this coming year, but the o-line is still a huge question mark.....we have a true leader at QB and the defense will be lights out with power and speed all over the field..... we will find out how good we are AT Texas... I remember when we played Zona back in 2003 and crushed them 56-13. I knew how good that team was at that moment....

Wrong... Dantoni is a great coach and his team underachieved last year.
