Spin off: the biggest “false bombshell” reports /rumors/ regarding LSU b/w 2010-2019?

In the previous decade, what were the most notable false bombshells that set this forum ablaze and even crashing before being debunked shortly afterwards?
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a report from a legit news site, maybe just a rumor that gained credible steam from forum insiders.
Could be positive false bombshell as well
