Ratphuk Hobley
ETA: I know that was pre-2010, but it's a classic.

At the all American game, LSU was expected to receive commits from five 5 star recruits. It turned out only 2 committed (Jamal Adams and Fournette) which turned out to be great for us. The other 3 (Tony brown, Gerald Willis, Speedy Noil) all turned out to be busts.
Jamal Adams was not one of the 5. It was a safety from North Louisiana who signed with Alabama(Hootie Jones if I remember correctly).
the issue was there were 5 top rated guys from Louisiana that were going to announce at an all star game. LSU got only Fournette. losing 4 of the top players from Louisiana hurt very badly. There was much gnashing of teeth.
Adams was a replacement from Texas that LSU got later that was much better than the guy we lost out on. The biggest loss was the big OT from Monroe (Cam Robinson) who was the top OT in the country.

Adams definitely committed at the All American game. He was the one who used a baby to announce. Hootie committed a month prior to the game.

2011 national championship locker room fight.
I've always wanted to know what actually happened involving this. Was this a total BS story? Anything to it?
Anyone....

Jarrett Lee was academically disqualified to play after the Alabama game (even though he was sent in to take a knee in at least one game).
Secret playbook.
Harris was improving. All the receivers were dropping passes, especially the ones they could barely reach.
