It’s been working this week.

The odds were so stacked on the bad side throughout the season, they’ll be stacked on the good side the next few weeks to ultimately even things up by end of Omaha.

I hate this take. Shift has been working well all season. For the 10 times we’ve been burned, it’s worked 100 times. We just don’t realize it because our players just played it perfectly.

I was going to say the exact same thing. It is never brought up all the times they are positioned correctly, just hammered when they are shifted and the ball is hit to their normal position.

College baseball needs to do away with the shift like MLB did. Not a fan

No they weren’t. Without the shift we would not have had a chance to make this run. We made plays due to the shift over and over again, but in the comparatively few times when the hitter beats the shift it is magnified by frustrated fans.
