My CSE has been expired for a while, but also ME by degree. Currently functioning as a system integrator. I just programmed that Curiel HR BTW. I wish.

I haven’t used 232 in 20+ years.

485 is easing out slowly. Most BACnet controllers are IP today, even at the unitary level. At least 90% of what we install today is. We convert 485 to T1L wherever we can. Most of the MS/TP that’s still out there is for legacy retros and device and factory controls integrations.

I do agree Modbus TCP is preferable to RTU.
