He's gone to great lengths to prove otherwise.

T posted legit info about the retarded looking upper deck that looks like a 6 year old designed and because he didn't sit on the board or sit in the room with the real engineers he gets bashed.

That's kind of sad in my opinion.

Where has anyone proved this to be legit?

I'll wait.

No. He got bashed because he either made-up or spread a ridiculous rumor about highly-paid design professionals 'forgetting' to add bathrooms to the stadium expansion. Nothing 'legit' about it.

It really does look like complete shite, though.

I would argue, assuming it was some sort of afterthought is giving them more the benefit of the doubt more so than assuming they actually designed the thing to look like that.

Again, my scope of work on the project had little to do with the actual building itself, so I can't attest to why it looks the way it does. But I doubt there was every any chance that it would satisfy everyone on The Rant. Just know that the south side of the stadium is an extremely difficult place to put any sizeable structure, so I'm sure some comprimises had to be made regarding what may have been desired.

The second taller structure closer to the east upper deck is probably the huge glass structure that is likely sitting outside of the stadium. That's why it appears higher than the others than are actually sitting in the stadium. That's what I assume anyway.

No way that the capacity after expansion is not over 100k.

they forgot to include concession stands and bathrooms in the original plan so they had to make them separate structures on the top level. those are the boxes you see sticking up. this may actually top the pvc pipe mistake. pretty amazing that they did this.

They are not saying 100,000 or more for Capacity and not saying how much more!

I believe a future expansion of the sez upper deck, to match the height of the e/w uppers, will eventually cover the exposed housing of the restrooms/ concessions.

The southeastern portion of the expansion (the part that juts out) has an all glass exterior huh? Because i see they have started putting up some kind of facade.

G-ES, as an engineer (though not involved in any way this) it is astounding the idiotic statements made about construction by some on here! That a design team would inadvertantly forget bathrooms and the like is the most ridiculas thing have seen here, knowing that these plans go through a screen/check process by several agencies and contractors prior to approval to bid letting including Fire marshall. The laymen on here have no idea what the constraints were as with most projects that we deal with where so many factors can come into play (right of way, electrical and mechanical codes, width/heigth restrictions to name a few) unless you are in the nuts and bolts of it is ludacris to even comment on!
That said, the infamous PVC pipe is pretty bad design.
