That is beyond any facepalm pic or gif I could possibly ever find.

I guess we could compare these drawings to the original drawings we saw to see if the boxes were atop the first set. Honestly, I don;t recall seeing what look like random boxes sitting up on top, but I'm willing to admit they may have been there and I missed it.

Anyone have the original drawings?

Could have simply forgotten or didn't see them in that pic.

Appears so...thanks for the pic. I don't remember seeing them, but at the time we were all focused on the entire design of it, the outside arches, etc. Plus, this image is covered by flags, etc. If the finished product resembles this, then I have no issues at all.

So they are never going to move the construction equipment? And the concourse will puddle up in the middle by design?

Not as bad as this: Spain's 47-story InTempo skyscraper built without elevator

Probably a 3D program that the construction/design team uses with the timeline of the construction.

In addition to the concessions and restrooms, they forget to put in any ramps, escalators, stairs, etc., so the cranes will be used to lift people up to the top. That's why there is so much open space on the top concourse.

This isn't true at all. But nice attempt to bash the Athletic Dept. Take a look at this early rendering:

It's very obviously in the plans. In the second picture, you can clearly see the corner of one of these structures. Take your trolling somewhere else.

I am on the design team for this project and can tell you that's not true. The architects who did this project also designed Jerry World, so they know what they are doing.

Little off topic but I noticed LSU finally painted the sewer pipe for the west upper deck. Must of finally got tired of hearing about it.

Can you comment on why they seem so haphazardly arranged in height, length and spacing? Maybe it is just an inaccurate rendering, or from an odd angle, but each block looks different than the other.
