On passing game against OM -"We were setting almost every play for a particular player." - BK
So you are telling me that our coaching staff is calling plays with only one read for our QB who was a Heisman favorite coming into this year? Did I misinterpret that? Gotta let Nuss go through proper progressions that we saw last year and that very senior QB should be capable of.
That was right after he answered a question about Alex Atkins and Joe Sloan's in-game collaboration and BK said he sees signs of the run game coming together. I am failing to see what BK sees in the run game coming together. Until Sloan makes a commitment to run the football more than a few times in the first half, I won't believe we are close. And if we can't run the football, maybe try some different schemes. I never thought I would say this after the Les Miles era, but give me a toss dive on the first play of the game and let's see what happens lmao
But if you are running pass plays looking for just one receiver, refusing to run the football, and allowing the defense to drop 7-8 in coverage on a consistent basis without punishing them with the run, this offense is going to continue to be stagnant without much hope for improvement.

quote:This is big time revisionist history. Sellers had 10 carries for 88 yards. 75 came on one play when Sage Ryan and Major Burns blew assignments.
They should've beaten us last year. Sellers was running right through us until he got hurt.
Sellers played like the guy he's always been. He had two explosive plays, then a bunch of really really really bad plays.

Nuss worked more with VR to help simulate situations...He didn't throw last week to help with healing, but was heavily involved in practice. He feels good and is ready to go.
He better be on a damn short leash. 1 under thrown ball to an open WR and MVB needs to be thrown in there

He’ll just find a way to bullshite around the questions. Doucet asked him straight up why they only ran the ball twice in the first half with a running back. His response was that “it’s circumstantial” and that Sloan “does a really good job” and they “clearly understand the need for balance”
If he says anything other than this he would get crushed for Kelly being an arse and throwing his players under the bus just like he used to do. Why are people shocked when a coach gives a coach speak answer.

The only moron is you.WTF do you want him to say. There’s not a coach in the country who tells the truth.Bum Philip’s was asked about a certain player and why he said he would play and didn’t ,he said I LIED .Its sad yall can’t just enjoy the season .

Why did he need to throw in Game 3 again?

Are they going to coach better this time?

For a second I thought for sure BK reads tRant when he said Nuss worked more with VR last week. I mean why the hell has he not been doing this all along?
But then he said Davis was ready to go at tackle and Sloan is doing a good job. Lol. I do hope Nuss plays better but if not maybe he will give MVB some PT early in the game.

frick. Just like Les. The fans shouldn't have more common sense than the head coach.

retarded....and BK says "But we need to have a running game that keeps you honest; that you can't put five guys in the box and cover down with seven others. So, fair box runs we've got to be better at, and we've got to be able to run the ball efficiently when you give us that look. If you want to play two-high safety and give us fair numbers, we've got to be efficient at running the ball, and we will be eventually.
Do you think he even knows there are only 11 men on the field at a time?
This guy is just a recorded sound machine saying the same nonsense week after week. He basically said nothing will change this week, and we just need to learn what we do better.
LSU is retarded for accepting his line of BS.

BK is NOT prepared for this game. Look at him fumbling on his note sheet to come up with ST stats and players. Same thing when mentioning their defensive player. A coach prepared would be able to know those things off of the top of his mind. He is NOT the man to guide us to the promise land.

They are lacking big time WRs

What does this mean? If he can’t throw, how was he heavily involved in practice?

He feels good and is ready to go.
Oh so only after one week he’s all of a sudden ready to go When he could barely throw it just the previous week?
I have my doubts.

I'm no Offensive Coordinator, but first thing I'm doing is going pro style, under center and abandon zone read when you don't have that qb. Nuss can't do it.
I'm running slants and outs with Anderson and Z Thomas because we can't block anyone for more than 3 seconds, and play action pass some deep routes every blue moon.
I really don't think this is hard.

We are still waiting for Les Miles to play his secret offense.
