Disasters do have a tendency to bring out the best in people, as we've seen with the flooding in both states.

Welcome to the earth. What planet are you from? The band and the sports program aren't in competition - aren't now, never have been, never will be. The band is THE most visible part of the fans' love of LSU. And for your information it always has been. When I arrived in 1962 I became a part of a tradition that makes LSU's spirit the greatest in the country.
