But Tamaurice Martin is coming as WR coach. That's good news

and your point is?

My point is that Jimbo Fisher and Kendall Briles are good football coaches. Who mentioned Miles?

And more to the point of "mentioning Miles", aren't we hoping our current coach can have Miles' record and accomplishments when he leaves? National title, chance at another, multiple SEC titles? Is that not desired?

I'm curious, someone else mentioned Taggert was in way over his head.
You think Briles is angling for making the offense respectable, and then stepping up?

I'm sure that like most coaches he would like to be a HC one day. If he does well at FSU then the next step is likely HC somewhere.

Briles did cover it up, a-hole. That's why he is unemployable to this day

Are people still confusing Kendal with Art?

I wonder- let's say Florida State continues to have an unacceptable record, say 7-5 with lots of undisciplined play... but the offense makes huge strides and looks promising.
Do you dump Taggert and take a flyer on Briles as "interim"?

It's probably going to take a couple years to rebuild that program, and Taggert's likely already too tarnished. But if you can fix the offense, you then can get a new DC and a new 3 yr plan. Briles could say "we can score 40, and by 2020 have the defense to make that count".

Damn Applewhite can’t keep an OC. Next one up though.

It's the MENTALITY/PHILOSOPHY on offense. It's called playing NOT TO LOSE / CONSERVATIVE / CLOSE TO THE VEST. You do not win 11 games in this current SEC with that approach on offense. It will cost us 2 to 3 regular season games every year.

It would be a big gamble. At his age I would like to see how he did at a smaller school first. Then again, you look at a guy like Lincoln Riley who replaced Bob Stoops. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

Why is this on here? Completely irrelevant to LSU.

Because some of us want an offense. It's nice to think about.

And are you positive it will remain that way in year 2 with 5th year senior QB, a more experienced OL and 2 blue chip sophomore WRs with a year of experience? Also add in two highly sought after RBs.

We have no way of knowing this for sure. Maybe I'm just hoping, but it looks like we are gonna find out becasue I don't think E is going anywhere.

Hey genius, why not mention Major Applewhite? Many of you mental midgets wanted that dumbass at LSU.

Kendal Briles just led Houston's offense to scoring 14 points vs Army. Houston lost 70-14. Yet, you and your ilk see no problem with this nitwit coming here with that offense after Houston just completed an 8-5 season.

Briles brilliant offense looks good against the high school teams Houston played. Rolling up points vs. SMU, Temple, Texas State, Tulane, and other Sisters Of The Poor proves nothing.

Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!!

Half you morons don’t even know he didn’t have his starting QB and played a freshmen.

Or that Army’s defense is legit.

Held 2 top 5 scoring offense to under 25 points.

We scored 24 on fricking Arkansas, so idk where we are getting on a high horse all of a sudden.

Well let me see how the offense operates in the bowl game. If we win it in the fashion that we are supposed to, I'll join you with the hope. Hell, when we nabbed Burrow last May, I was one calling for 11 & 1. Ensminger had laid out an exciting plan involving wide receivers and SPREAD back in January, so I wanted to believe him and have hope, then Burrow, bammm, I was calling for 11 & 1. But everything changed in my mind as each game came and I saw Ensminger in action. We'll just have to see. I may jump back on the hope train.

Offense is fine according to Orgeron and all they need is better O-linemen...which they did not get this year (2019)...
I'm neither "Pro" or "Anti" Orgeron. He says they need better OL's, but fails to bring in enough "SEC Championship Caliber Difference Maker OL's" again to make much of a difference.

According to the Rant X-Box Experts, the LSU OL will be significantly improved in 2019 due to: * Another year of experience. * If there are no injuries. (Impossible) * Infusion of more talented freshman OL's. (Where are they?)

I'm looking at the roster and I don't see any significant OL improvement on the horizon. (Maybe a little, but not enough to really matter)

Haven't seen any evidence as of yet, that James Cregg is the right man for the job either...…...

Yea, that sterling offensive performance in the bowl game makes rape excuser Briles look soooo good.
And yes, I'm being very sarcastic.
