Sort of a lose-lose situation this weekend...

If LSU manages to pull out the victory, which I definitely feel like they can, I'm certain the media mantra will be "wow Florida was overrated". If LSU loses, it only confirms what they had though all along...UF and Bama are 1&2 in the SEC. If Bama and FL loses the whole SEC was overrated. Start toting the Big 12/PAC 10 flags around.

I sort of looked at it as a no-lose situation for LSU this weekend. If LSU loses, they still control their own destiny in the SEC - if they win out they get a rematch with Florida in SEC championship game. All the pressure is on UF.

Depends on how sloppy the game is. If LSU plays like shite and Florida does too, with LSU winning, they'll chant overrated to Florida. Just like the Georgia game. If LSU plays their A game and dominates, they'll say Florida is overrated and LSU is the best team in the country. If LSU plays their A game and Florida does too, with LSU winning, they'll say LSU talent is coming around, best in the country and the SEC is the most dominant conference.

If LSU wins, they are no worse than #3 in the country with a bye. I'm having a hard time seeing the downside here.

If LSU wins it's because Tebow was out. If LSU loses it's because they were overrated.
That's how I see it at least. I think we stay in the top-10 if we lose a close game though.

Only if the game was epic. If we lose and are less than awe inspiring, we fall precipitously. National media has been positioning for weeks to send us lower than teams like Auburn.

Tebow plays and florida wins- the coverage of tebow beating us with a concussion will surpass the coverage favre gets
Tebow plays and lsu wins- LSU will only have won because tebow wasnt 100%
Brantley plays and florida wins- corch urban meyer is a genius and we are the worst team ever
Brantley plays and lsu wins-we get no credit and all we hear about is how florida should be #1 still since they lost without tebow
