However, you won't reason much with people on the Rant. Many are hardcore fans.
These aren't mutually exclusive, champ.
All kidding aside, Wisky might have a solid team, but there's nothing about their program over the past several seasons, or anything about the current team, that ought to strike fear in this SEC tested LSU team.
Simply put, we've got an eager fan throwing shite against the wall hoping it sticks. Now...EVENTUALLY one of these guys one year will be right in his prediction. Will it be this clown? I doubt it. But change a variable here or there and we have read this exact same screed from at least one super fan from every OOC team LSU has played for the past decade. All have suffered the same fate.
The only thing new is the screen name...

First off I appreciate you passion and loyalty. Second off
it will be a close victory for the good guys. Then y'all can play that shite schedule you got and feel good about yourselves and 9 wins.

Sure, I'll come back and eat crow if I have to. But I feel good about this game next week.
I've been watching a lot of your games from last year to try and get a feel for your team. Teams moved the ball at will on you guys last year, so I'm not sure where your confidence in your defense is coming from, especially considering your thin defensive line going up against one of the best offensive lines in college football.
Also, in your opening game against TCU last year, the game was close late in the 4th quarter.
I think the game will be close in the 4th for our matchup, but I do think your QBs make an error late that gives us the win, and makes the score look worse than it really was.
I also think you guys underestimate how good Gordon and Clement are.

You're right. You lost to them in the Rose Bowl a few years ago

Of course you do. The Big 10 has been owned by the SEC for the last decade. People tend to loath what they cannot beat.
Having said that, Wisconsin is a legit threat and a good team. I expect that Wisconsin will run the ball effectively.
However, the level of athletes that LSU will throw at Wisconsin is above what they will see the remainder of the year. Historically, when a team is as outmatched athletically as Wisconsin will be, they lose. You've underestimated this aspect of the matchup either because you are in denial...or just haven't figured out what has made the SEC so dominant for all these years.
Wisconsin's saving grace could be LSU's QB play. It is always a possibility that LSU lays an egg at QB. If that happens, all bets are off. But, if LSU gets just adequate QB play, I think LSU rolls to 30-40 points pretty easily.

The Iowa argument is null and void. First off it's a bowl game compared to regular season. Second and most importantly We had one of our most vanilla offensive game plans installed to help our freshman qb ease into it and build confidence. It was obvious what our game plan was after two series and yet Iowa still couldn't stop us.

To be honest...this is more sad than impressive. Are you staff or just crazy?

Are you looking for a moral victory, because I'm sure LSU will allow you one of those if you'd like. An actual one will be harder to come by, however.

Alrighty...

You're gonna stay around after we kill your program on the 30th, right?

These games should be close, you have months to prepare for each other. They're not always close though. Y'all are a talented team , but I say we've got y'all in all phases. Our tigers are super fast and your badgers are like turtles running through peanut butter

Your running back Leo Fournette will end up being an average back. I've seen this story far too many times. 5 star kid highly recruited out of high school, treated like a celebrity when he enters college, and he ends up amounting to nothing. I think the guy will be a good back, but won't be the unstoppable machine everyone thinks he will be. I believe you guys recruited another running back as well, so here's my prediction - that guy ends up being the better back when it's all said and done
You suspect as frick

This is where you are not seeing things correctly.... This is NOT last year. Our D has been lighting it up in fall practice and will be much improved. Please understand that your are not playing against last years D, which is very unfortunate for you

Who do you think is starting against Wisconsin?

This is probably true, but the same can be said for just about any duo in the country. I watched a little bit of tape on Gordon, he's definitely good. However one thing I noticed was the lack of speed from the opposition in many of his highlights. Gordon and Clement are good I'm sure, but there are ways to clog up a powerful offensive line to bounce the rb's outside. Then the matchup gets tough for him.

A sophomore with a year to get better and not a freshman thrown into the fire. Are u dumb?

Or a BAMA fan, or an Ole Miss fan...
Regardless, it's fun to play with him. Whoever it is...
