The vast majority of major CFB teams were playing cupcakes so their emotions weren't exactly running high.

Notre Dame had 11 penalties in their game and looked incredibly sloppy. A&M had 7 or so.

If you think this is just an LSU problem, then I don't know what to tell you.

Oh just the two selfish and unnecessary 15 yard penalties that cost their team along with field position in a very competitive game. Remember?

It’s Wednesday, rantards want you to memory hole what happened Sunday and accept their new version of those events. Cmon bro, it’s taken them 3 days to come up with these narratives, be a buddy.

I think most people have just had a chance to calm down and think logically.

Some of you are still behaving emotionally though.

Nope, I’m just not coping by attempting to recreate reality. You know winning culture demands accountability and transparency. Losing culture makes excuses and tries to cloud mistakes. There’s no question which one you fall under.

Notice he has to falsely claim that anyone who doesn’t play along is “emotional”. How do you have an honest discussion with the dishonest?

You're just a fan on a message board, you aren't creating any type of "culture."

You're simply ranting and raving about things you don't even understand.

First comment is irrelevant hypocrisy, second is dishonest. Where in my post did I “rant and rave”?

Incorrect.

True, I am also just a fan on a message board however I am not pretending I'm creating some type of "culture" here that has an effect on a college football team.

Perhaps "rant and rave" was too strong of a term, let me change my statement.

We have fans here who are making statements about things they know nothing about. It's rather emotional and reactionary.

If you had even the slightest self awareness but you’re too emotional to realize what you’re saying.

What specifically do you think Kelly should do about this issue of players committing dumb penalties?

What do you do when half of your team gets pissed about that?

Like reportedly what happened with Alabama last year at USF?

That’s pure speculation with zero evidence and If that’s what you’ve recruited here we have no chance anyway. What you do is when Lacy pulled his stunt you sit him for a drive, maybe two depending on how it goes. That way when Burns does what he did, he probably wouldn’t if you’d set an example with Lacy, there’s no problem pulling his arse for as long as you feel like because he’s seen the consequences yet still did it so he gets it worse. Thats how you handle it because it’s the only way to handle that.

I find it a little funny that for the past 2 years tRant has been bitching and moaning about Kelly being too much of a disciplinarian and wanting choir boys, but now he’s completely lost control of the program.

The Lacy and Burns penalties were selfish and inexcusable. I wouldn’t be mad if he sat both of them, particularly while we have a lull in the schedule. I think Kelly should be pissed about that stuff. But I’m not going to act like I think it’s indicative of some festering locker room problem. I don’t think that developing the locker room culture/discipline is Kelly’s weak point. Not by a long shot.

As for NIL and revenue sharing, maybe it does get worse across the board. But it’s all relative.

Sure it is but it'd be a fairly reasonable outcome with this generation of players.

The coaches have very little leverage these days.

You can’t say he’s guaranteed 10 years then say he has no leverage. You can’t honestly think coaches have zero authority over their players?
