This is not 1996 and TH is not a backstreet boy. It aint that bad.
College aint rough and "making the grade" isn't hard.
I don't think any player is asking for "a few moments" for himself because I'm sure they have plenty.

maybe he was glad someone asked him to sign something. maybe he was having a bad day and that was just the thing he needed ( some acceptance issues perhaps ). the point is he is a big boy now and if he didnt mind why do you?

I saw Shaq every MWF for an entire semester. We had adjacent classes in Allen Hall. Occasionally, we would exchange "What's up?" "How's it going?" or whatever. I thought about asking for an autograph, if for nothing else, my (then 1 year old) son to have down the line.
However, I have something better: I got to treat Shaq as a classmate, a peer, just another one of the guys. That's way better than an autograph.

I was at my cousins rehearsal dinner and saw Jai Eugene, Kelvin Sheppard, and TT all at the bar eating some dinner. My 11 and 13 year old cousins went up to them and got their autographs. I wanted to talk to them but I walked up on the other side of the bar and just told them congrats on last season, good luck this year, and enjoy your drinks. They started to talk to me but I told them I didn't want to bother them anymore. I didnt think that I was bothering them and they didnt seem to mind the attention.

We have a day each year where kids and adult groupies can get some Tiger autographs. That is weird wanting a college kids autograph.

How many college kids actually get to feel like a celebrity even once in their lives? Very few. And this is TH's 15 minutes, he's just stretching it out a little longer.

dude stop being an arse! if you were there and saw guy hold hat over food, saw him have to put down food, wipe hands to sign this ADULTS HAT , it was have been perplexing to you too!
I'm not saying he dosnt enjoy the attention, he was in his lsu warm ups, its just what he was doing at the time. only time would be worse is if he was trying to piss and guy mext to him asked........
the 2 major factors are not that he asked for autograph on used hat... but that TH was in mid BITE, hat was held over his food( and not while he was signing, but while he was being asked in mid bite!)and that it was an ADULT. if it were 2 kids or TH was done eating and just watching game or hanging out, then so be it, but not at the time this guy was there.
Like the ultimate class guy he is, TH held in any resentment if he had any and took care of this guy....
on a side note TH was with a female, not sure if this makes it better or worse......
