So...most think a 1 loss SEC champion is getting left out this year.

This will be the only and last year if that happens. The SEC has dominated CFB for 23 years...

In the future...the 12 team playoffs are going to end up featuring more SEC teams resulting in rematches for national championships.

But it will be more interesting to see it play out.

The SEC will dominate every year after this year. They’re going to hate the expansion.

According to Saban a one loss SEC team is a top four team. Hence, Georgia and Alabama should be in.

If Alabama wasn’t the luckiest team on the planet, they would’ve lost to Auburn. A team that got blown out by New Mexico State. They only beat Arkansas by 3. They only beat Texas A&M by 6.

They will sleep better at night by leaving the sec out of it this year knowing the sec will dominate the football playoffs for years to come.

It is at least conceivable that they will say the SEC championship was a de facto playoff game and Georgia is out. 1-loss SEC champ, 1-loss Big 12 champ and 11-0 ACC champ with no QB? Bama and Texas are true blue bloods - Fla State is out.

Considering the other 2 options are an undefeated conference champion and a one loss conference champion who handed that SEC champion their 1 loss, yes.

No. The era of SEC dominance is ending. NIL is bringing more parity. The SEC will still be the best conference, but it won’t be the bitch-slap it has been.

Note: I’m not counting Texas and Oklahoma as SEC. I mean the SEC as constituted during those 23 years of dominance. Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, and the supporting teams.

No qb but that shouldnt penalize them. They are 13-0 and acc champs. It will be mich wash fsu texas. If bama gets in the bias is obvious

I am actively cheering for the SEC to be left out. That corrupt little Dixie Mafia office in Birmingham doesn’t deserve one penny after orchestrating blatant fraud.

How many times do we need to see it? Dallas Turner. The BS fumble call in Baton Rouge last year. Last night’s 4th down “catch” that lead to a game deciding score.

Not sure how the revenue split works during playoffs but if SEC gets left out it’s a very bad look for Spankme and the redneck cartel over there.

Could’ve easily lost to USF too

It’s not at all conceivable that an undefeated FSU gets left out.

Why does everyone keep ignoring TX loss to Oklahoma? Yes the win H2H is important, but TX has a conference loss, and didn’t beat the #1 ranked team. You are saying Texas’s win over bama in wk 2 is more impressive than last nights win over the #1 ranked GA?
