This year I have got a false sense of excitement. Even for the Florida games it was forced. Even the fans had a going through the motions vibe, but this week is a different story, there is a little more excitement in the air and I think our players will feed off of it. WHO IS READY???

man, i dunno. just not feeling it this year. I think I'm having a National Championship hangover cause i really don't give a frick this year just out to enjoy the games, yell like a fool and whatever happens happens.

I KNOW that we will be back in the National Championship hunt every year.

But, I sure would like to have that Ball State QB on our team. What's his name? Nate something or other? He looked tough last night even if it was only a MAC conference game.

Maybe I'm just strange, but I've been pumped for every game this season, even crappy games like Tulame ... idk, I can be weird like that sometimes

If anything I think it more dead this week than it was for the UGA game. I think most LSU fans may say they think LSU is going to win, but deep down have a pretty good idea that LSU is going to lose this game. Also, with the hang over from the election, it's just sort of a downer week.

I was like that last year. I literally didn't get a minute of sleep the night before every game. Sometimes I was so tired from not sleeping that I had to take a nap later in the day.

At halftime of the Florida game, I was so nervous that I took one bit of my hamburger and couldn't eat anymore. I had to just sit down and breath deeply before the second half. A crazy fricking ride, it was.

This year? Not so much.

The game atmosphere has been horrible compared to previous years.

Might be championship lag.

Probably has more to do with 10AM and 2:30 CBS.

No flow to the game. Cheers start and die after 20 seconds looking at the players staring at each other and the guy with the red hat.

Maybe the co-DC's could come up with a play to at least take out the red hat guy.

We will have played this season without a significant night game at Tiger Stadium. Sad but true.

That can't help Tiger Stadium's atmosphere.

Doesn't bode well for encosing the endzone with an upper deck.

Speak for yourself, if anything and because of the great election, I'm more pumped than ever!

Good we got our mojo back then. This use to always b the case, hopefully we have eaten some humble pie, and are ready to kick some arse.

Also, I will feel much better about this game if Mike gets in his damn cage.

I agree with that.....What's up with Mike not going around the field. That big cat better be out there this week.
I'm ready. I am hoping all the fans that enter that stadium are ready and go in with the winning attitude that the team needs to have. This will be our week to take down the #1 team.

CBS kills the atmosphere. TV timeouts are way too long.

just because you have such a negative outlook on this team doesn't mean "most fans" feel that way.

You hit the nail on the head.

Day games suck and you have too many :asskisser: DGD's (Day Game Defenders) running around not caring less as long as they're IN the stadium. At some point in time LSU fans/alumni just have to go up and beyond the call of duty and have some kind of mass and militant protest over this. I don't want to hear any of this "There's nothing you can do" and "That's the price you've got to pay for having a successful program" BS. Everybody is just sitting around very complacent about seeing LSU tradition totally destroyed. Makes me ...........

It is time to stop being a big bunch of excuse making pussies and go out there and play some sound football defensively. It takes a team to play good defense, not 11 individuals trying to make a play. Know your roll.

Eye of the tiger.
