We have a playoff - it's called the regular season. Like it or not gents, the bcs has gotten it right each year.

By the way, what happened in 2007 when #1 Ohio state and #2 Michigan were on course for a re match w 1 week to play?

Funny that OSU fans feel a victory over OU gets them in the title game. Yet all the shite stirrers say bama is a done deal.

Crazy.

Bring on either one!

The original post makes a for a good argument with legs, while Bama sits at home this weekend and watches.

as it should be. okie state has a point if they beat oklahoma; in not it's definately lsu vs bama. there is no championship game in the big 12.

great graphic.

OSU is getting reamed on this one, they are clearly the team that deserves the shot.

... but, but, but the second team's name is Alabama! They have 13(-ish) national titles!

If OSU can prove a point next week, then they have a shot at it.

Great chart by the way.

for "notable wins", why doesn't it include Miss State, Florida and Vandy for Alabama? All three are 6-6, which is the same record as Texas A&M, which is included for Ok State?

Think TAMU are included because of their ranking upon defeat.

Nice. But I think the rematch is happening. ESPN has been spreading the propaganda for a rematch very vehemently lately.

OSU hasn't played in a week and their last game was the loss. Meanwhile, Alabama rolled. The press is fickle and sways drastically with the latest events. A win by OSU, especially a convincing one, would change the tone dramatically.

It leaves out notable losses. Bama lost by 3 pts in OT to #1 LSU. OSU lost in 2 OT to unranked Iowa State.

Alabama is the best 1-loss team IMO and we'll beat them again--this time handily.

Bama's loss in overtime is on a different level than Okie St's...
i like how important rankings are in this graph, except when it comes to losses.

Bama lost to the baddest mutha fckas in the land by a field goal, in overtime.

Okie St. lost to the sh*t on the bottom of the shoe of a nobody in overtime.
to me, that trumps all "notable wins"

also, they probably failed to mention on the grounds of ignorance, that bama's season, against all other oponents, is basically identical to LSU's against the same teams.

if there is a definitive #2, its BAMA.

This is funny shite. Oklite has THE worst defense in the world and will get waxed by Ok this week and all this fantasy football will become moot.
