How much vocal outcry is there in Stillwater currently ? I'd be interested to see it
They seem to be "preparing" to be upset, but at the same time knowing that they still have to handle their own business against Oklahoma or it all means nothing.

List is actually enlightening. I think tulsa should be removed, though, because the point is still made without it, and it looks like homerism.

Who was the coach of Oklahoma State the last time the Cowboys beat the Sooners?

The tulsa game is actually a notable win to me. They are pretty strong this year, but more importantly that is the game that didn't kick off until after midnight because of the weather. I watched the whole game and I have to say it probably wasn't easy playing that and then the next game.
ETA: and for the record, considering Auburn's defense, Tulsa would have a chance to win that game.
I could see Tulsa having a decent shot of beating Auburn, Miss St, Ole Miss, Vandy (their secondary would make it a challenge though), Kentucky, Tenn, Maybe UF.

I can't believe nobody here has caught the huge flaw in the OP. The whole premise that the post is built on is logic! Since when do they use logic. I mean didn't they throw that out in 2004 after logic didn't give them the results they wanted in 2003?

A bit of homerism.
- Including Tulsa
- Including A&M(6-6) while not including UF,Vandy,MSU(all 6-6) for Bama.
- Including how each team loss but not who the loss was to. Who a team beats is important, but not who they lose to?

I liked it because it grabs your attention right away and you don't have to read through 4 paragraphs

I hate bama but i still gotta point out the Bama-Florida game when Fla was ranked 12.

He conveniently left of at #12 but now not ranked UF at 6-6 but left on theirs
at #8 but now not ranked TAMU also at 6-6
They have played 4 teams that were ranked when they played. So have we.
One or two of these teams will drop out the top 25 next week, Baylor, Texas or Mizzou.
ISU has won three bowls and has had 2, 9 win seasons and 5, 8 win seasons, Ever. No excuse for losing to them.

I still stand by my statement that the Tulsa game deserves to be on there. They warmed up and went back in the locker rooms multiple times. The game that should have kicked off at 9 didn't end until 340. And Tulsa is a pretty decent team.
I will give you the omission of Florida though.

So will Auburn and Penn State.
ETA guess those are the new rankings. Auburn did drop. Surprised Penn state didn't.. But they could still.

I would not have a problem with them playing LSU if they lost to OU as their only loss. Hell any of their ranked opponents. But they lost to ISU

Have you watched Tulsa play?
Tulsa lost four games by three touchdowns or more.
Their best wins are against SMU(7-5) and Marshall(6-6)

In a year with several worthy contenders, this is VERY hard to overlook. Particularly if you are talking about jumping someone in the last week. If OSU wins big next week, it will be really interesting though. I think they need a big win to get in.

Very few games left to be played. PSU has no more games. They will not drop out at this point.

Yes I have. I stayed up and watched that entire game. It's not just that they played Tulsa but the situation.
Furthermore I feel Tulsa would go 5-2 or 4-3 against Auburn, Ms. St., Ole Miss, Tenn, Vandy, Kentucky, and florida
They aren't great but they aren't Georgia Southern either.

I agree that it is unlikely, but you never know with the mumbo jumbo that happens at the end.

In no way am I trying to pump up that win but Ga Southern would prob beat OM and UK and make a game for UF, AU, UT and State.
