I know exactly what it is, why it’s used and what it’s masquerading as.
Let me give you an example of ESPN “logic”
When ESPN decided to promote and throw its weight behind Tim Tebow as an NFL QB they needed to invent a metric that told fans, “contrary to what your eyes and every football experienced person is telling you, they’re all wrong and we’re right.” The real reason was simply ratings, just like the FPI farce, but the stat they invented was QBR. Here’s an example of that stat in a real comparison.
Couple games from the 2011 season
Aaron Rogers -26/39, 396yards, 2TDs 0Ints
Tim Tebow - 4/10, 79yrds, 1TD, 0Ints
QBR rating
Rogers : 82.1
Tebow: 83.2
So by ESPN “logic” Tim Tebow had the better game lmfao...That’s ESPN metric logic

Prediction to keep winning.
LSU has 2 games and Bama has 1 LSU plays a top 4 team and Bama doesn’t
Ok but wait... if they’re factoring in post-season then shouldn’t every CFP contender & divisional champion automatically have lower odds than standard +1 bowl-bound teams?
Something still off here.

Do you remember when LSU gave up 600+ to Ole miss? More than 400 of which were rush yards give up...couple weeks back....
Oh and then there's the entire season before that game as as if anyone could forget....That we've been terrible. On every level. Which is what makes the absolute least sense of all. Its not as if the roster isn't filled with elite talent.
Point is that if all we are is a team that can outscore you and take the win however we can with our offense doing it on the most part, but I'm far more worried and having Stan anything near judge irwinn
