I know they are not good, but can they get after the quarterback like they could a couple years ago? Or do they pose any matchup problems that could make the game interesting? I only have time to watch LSU and know nothing about Mississippi State.

I feel really confident we’re going to beat the shite out of them.

I wouldn’t say they are like previous years when they had decent teams. It’s going to be a beat down.

One of my coworkers is a State grad. Several weeks ago, he said Joe Moorhead has ruined watching football for him. He also expects us to hang 70 on them this weekend.

They think they'll be a brand new team on offense with the new QB. Supposedly, he's a real running threat blah blah and throws accurate on the run blah blah.

The MSU defense is horrible, top to bottom.

At worst, we win 70-50.

Yeah vs Tenn Shrader was 5/10 for 79 yds, 1 TD/1 INT and ran for 62 yds. Real scary.

They lost their entire two-deep DL from last year, have some experience at LB, and aren't very good on the back end. I am pretty sure the offensive braintrust is going to be able to find some avenue for exploitation.

K Hill is a legit running threat—one of the better backs in the league

k hill is a legit talent at rb. has over 600 yd rushing this yr.
that being said, his last 2 games finds him with 28 carries for 58 yards.
qb play is atrocious.
I think lsu can name their score. I predict we score often/early, but state picks up garbage td's against backups and were prob a little emotionally subdued after the fla win.

Even under Mullen they were rarely better than mediocre. Their best season by far was 2014.
