How does a Louisiana resident actually "freeload" off of a public university?

I disagree. My old boss isnt from here and would buy the hell out of that most expensive one and the catering for clients. It's a very lazy way for customers to get the tailgating and the game, rather than just the tickets like the old days. They'll probably sell next year once word gets out.

I fricking hate them as much as anyone else. I dont go to games anymore because of shite like this. but let's not pretend this is aimed at a guy who splits season tickets with someone on the opposite shift and likes to cook and drink before the game with his family. Its aimed towards companies entertaining customers and it will sell.

Which is fine. The problem comes when the only way to tailgate on campus is to pay for one of these packages. It's coming. In 10 years, maybe less, LSU will probably ban tents and portable generators on campus unless they are provided through the LSU approved vendor.

This is why the game day atmosphere is dead on campus.

And it’s only going to get worse.

I see this thread is anchored. Pathetic.

That's the endgame no doubt. I wont be there for it though. The only money LSU sees from me any more is my baseball tickets. If they start screwing that up I'll offload those as well.

Problem is LSU doesnt really care about chasing off the old school fans.

Officials declined to provide the financial terms of the contract, though Blockparty CEO Adam Ward said the partnership will last a minimum three seasons.

With all the outrage on here why hasn’t anyone done a FOIA request for the contract. Blockparty may not release the details but I am pretty sure LSU has to.
