Sure.
But some just like to argue
Some really just are negative people.
And then, some arecboth

Absolutely not, I agree that's hyperbole. However that thread is about extremes, not disagreement.
C'mon Roger. It's the exact same thing as people calling posters like you a CheeriO (hate that term). Just because you mostly post positive stuff doesn't mean you don't also criticize.
It's the same thing as the nonsense that the negas would rather be right than have O be successful. Do the "positive" guys care more about being right than Orgeron being successful? Of course not, we all want LSU to win.

can you link the 1st post you speak of?
LINK
OP mentioned someone's first post. The post you linked was by someone with 40k posts.

The negativity spreads faster than cancer. I’m not talking about the guys who vent about play calling or even a coach by giving their educated opinion. However, the guys filled with hatred and the guys that go after a poster, or a post that says something positive that LSU did, they may down vote because they don’t like the coach.
Are you intentionally missing OPs point? i.e., that the negative posters constantly try to run off positive posters. Not that they express a negative opinion.

Ben Coleman is a pretty negative poster. And he always down votes people.

Thanks, but that can't be who he is referring to. That poster is from 2008 with several posts.
I'd like to see what the OP is referring to.

I don't care who the coach is. Didn't 10 years ago either.

Being positive and being good aren’t the same thing
If you want to post something solely pumping Os tires be ready for some kickback.
It’s not like there are a ton of threads discussing the finer points of the offense, or breaking down strategy.
If you just post and opinion people will either agree or shite on it.

That wasn't a "positive" post by Otis. Give me a break. It was bait, and I enjoyed biting at it. He got what he was looking for.

No, I'm talking about the definition of what is negative.

Like your example of Coach O "crushing it" I don't think he's crushing it by any means. However I do believe that 2018 was a good a season and my only complaint all season was the vanilla game plan vs lesser opponents. That is considered by some as negative and being a hater. That is my point and it's 100% true.

I know that and I know that the overwhelming majority of the "haters" don't either. Of course there is always gonna be the jackass that says "he lost to Troy." IMO that person shouldn't even be acknowledged.

You can't say anything positive without being called a pumper, and you can't say anything negative If you don't directly blame the HC in the post.
It's pathetic.

You only visit five minutes a day and typed all of this out? Guess you’ll be back in a month to check on the responses because this had to take a long time to think up and type out.

I couldn't agree more, Roger. How is it that a person can be called a pumper and a hater on the same board on the same day. It's crazy.

You can say positive things about O without being a pumper but most people aren’t starting threads out of no where just to pump him up.
I fully Admit that he stepped up his game this year compared to 2017. He’s not perfect but he’s night and day better
Better recruiting
Better game day decisions (mostly)
I think After a rough patch he did a good job keeping the team focused.
My only complaint is that the offense is still costing us games and making the defense do the heavy lifting.

“ how many people out there would love to know what the negative posters do for a living, and how many of them think they could do better at their job (assuming they had one) but it’s some else’s fault they were not more successful? “
You seem to be awful negative.
Not everyone’s going to agree with you on a sports forum. Not everyone’s going to be nice to you on the sports forum. No one forces anyone else to post on a sports forum, but when you do you need to realize that you’re opening yourself up for criticism.
Just roll with it, don’t take anything too serious, and you’ll be fine.
