Eastern Kentucky and other side of the border in WV.
That makes the hillbillies in rural east Tennessee look sophisticated.

It is funny reading on the OT how LP is so white trash...
Well, it is obvious posters have never been up near these "neck of the woods" in Eastern Kentucky and WV.
It is Gods country, but damn, they have major issues.
They actually put Mt. Dew in baby's bottles because some actually think it is dew from the mountains.
Real bad Oxy and prescription pain drug issues...a lot of poverty, real sad.

My maternal grandfather was from West Virgina (Buckhannon in Upshur County) and he was more educated than 99.9% of the rubes that post on this board. That's probably because he went to college and law school in North Carolina.

Mike, we drove from Knoxville to go skiing at Snowshoe a couple of years ago and got turned around somewhere out in the sticks. The people I saw out there were straight from central casting on a Hollywood set. If I had not seen it with my own eyes I would have thought that it was just stereotypes. I've been to LP, Denham etc. and that looks like the upper East side of Manhattan compared to some of these mountain areas up here.

He was probably the counterpoint to the guy that they usually interview anytime there is a mudslide, coal mine cave in, etc. They usually interview one guy that is barely able to put together a sentence and one guy that might be the smartest guy in town...usually the town doctor or lawyer.

Let's just say, if one "F"s with another families kin folk...then some will crawl out of the hollers and take care of justice in their on hands and slither back in the hollers.
I hear stories from my friends fathers who grew up in Eastern Kentucky tell me stories of shootouts in the town main streets in daylight.
Hatfield and McCoys (S. Willaimson KY/WV area) is tame comapred to the stuff that has been told.

Talk about hypocrites. Look in the mirror. I know most on here aren't your typical fan base. By the way you express yourself you wouldn't have made it thru a semester at your fine University.

Lighten up.
99% of the posters here wish you'd do something similar. It's all in good fun.
Please: start a thread making fun of people from Louisiana. Most people will help out.

You people act like there are no backwoods hayseed Neandernecks anywhere but West Virginia. The Southern U.S.A. in general,(Alabama #1) is loaded down. Louisiana included.......
