Sure you can. You couldn't have that AND a running back. But, you can absolutely have 3 WRs and 2 TEs. It's just 5 wide, but replacing 2 WRs with TEs.

I know it was a small sample size, but Pettigrew looked filthy in the spring game. Absolute matchup nightmare for any defense.

No it doesn't. Numbers alone do say shite. In fact it doesn't tell the story of the drive itself what so ever. You would have to go back and look at each series and which plays were called in each one to really get an idea. I can run for 3 yards then 7, get the first down then come out in shotgun formation and pass but not be near as effective if I instead ran for 3 then 7, came out in the same formation and used PA out of it. It's the timing of the calls that matter not the calls at random on the down.

The defense has to buy what you're selling and the more effective you do that with your series of play calls, the more effective you will be as an offense. Numbers don't tell the story what so ever.

No need to argue ignorance. Ensminger was implementing spread concepts years ago. Only difference will be the 2018 offense will predominantly run out of spread formations and E didn’t always do that. But he has said this year he will due to WR position being deep and talented.
