One of the best venues in America. UL has the number one venue this year. Not bad for 60 miles apart.

When ranking softball's cold-blooded killers, Beth Torina comes in at number 1.

With an unpadded picket fence for the outfield wall.

Seriously .this was posted as a way to congratulate the lsu staff and fans for having one of the best venues in the country. How did this become an opportunity to knock on u.l. I mean really who gives a shite what they call themselves

Any self respecting LSU Alum/Fan, that's who!

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, plain and simply, is not qualified to be called the University of Louisiana.

It's too small in scope academically and athletically. UL-L is no more worthy of that title than the "University of Louisiana at Monroe" is.

It's just wacked out arrogance.

Realistically, it shouldn't even be a 4-Year Institution of Higher Learning in the State of Louisiana.

LSU, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Southern and Grambling should be the 4 year schools.

Everybody else should be converted to 2 year Junior College's. Would save the State millions of dollars and make much more sense.

"Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette" has a nice ring to it!...................

ULL actually has a great engineering department. Their nursing is climbing. Baseball is usually top 25. Softball usually top 10. Why shouldn't they be a 4 year institution ?

Yeah but we kicked their asses in football.
Made their heisman QB look like a high school kid out there

Eta; when will ULL learn they're not relevant enough to be known as UL

Quit reading when I realized that UL wasn't Louisville. Misrepresenting the name invalidates the post.

Give it up. You are not the University of Louisiana and never will be.

That war is over. UL won. Sorry about your loss. Now go find something else to cry about.

You are really dumb. I'm sure you don't realize that UL has the 2nd largest enrollment in the state and a larger endowment than all the other ULS schools COMBINED.
