Oh I know all to well that SELU beat LSU, no excuses but that doesn’t mean you are qualified to be the LSU coach. BTW, what happened against Nebraska after those wins? Destroyed ! I’m not saying he is a bad coach but he is good where he is, you do realize if SE played in the SEC they would be 2-22 at best..the gimmicky offense would be destroyed in the SEC just like when they played OU and Texas this yr..

Mark, you are correct that Emily played her tail off for LSU and I thought she did an awesome job playing for and representing our university.
I enjoyed cheering for her & her teammates very much. The poster you are replying to posted the same nonsense back when Emily was at LSU.

Emily was a good tiger. She was a firecracker. Always liked watching her play.
and that usually is how it goes for dads who are coaches like us. We will always be toughest on our daughters. No daddy ball BS when they were little. Made mine earn their playing time and spots. Made sure they were hardest workers on the team.

Emily was always very kind to the fans, especially the kids who wanted autographs after the games. Beth tends to recruit good citizens.
Can you share what Emily is doing post-softball? I am sure she is good at whatever it is.

You’re absolutely right, I made a false statement. It wasn’t 0- 40 something, it was 1-31, A&M series through Georgia 2016. Wasn’t trying to bash Emily, just remembered the announcers commenting on it and I spoke about it back then that she should have been sat for a game to REFOCUS and made the comparison to Edwards and Bergeron now.

I get that not everyone is a fan of this person, and that's okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Personally, he doesn't bother me. Anyone showing up and cheering for my team, I can appreciate that.
What's getting old is seeing the same situation blown up over and over again. I was there too, and like most disagreements, nobody was completely right and nobody was completely wrong. People see and hear things differently, and that's just reality.
At some point, we've got to let it go and move on. It's bigger than one moment or one person - let's focus on supporting the team.

You are correct and I apologize. I was thinking her freshman year. So maybe should have sat out, maybe there was nobody better to put out there, I honestly dont know. What I am absolutely correct about is that Beth is not Emilys Godmother or anything else to Emily. If you knew the inner workings of what went on in this program during that time you would never think Emily was favored by Beth and you would know that Beth never sought my advice nor was my advice or opinion ever given to her. Trust me, I had my opinions....lol
