You weren’t lying, South Carolina had to have given Oklahoma their toughest weekend in years. Scores were 10-9, 10-9, 2-1. Oklahoma won’t be able to walk through conference play like they did in the Big 12

Since it is softball, there will be losses coming. It is inevitable, no matter how good you are.
And when that next loss comes, these Casual Observers will come out of the woodwork and tell us why the team is doomed to fail, even though their record will be like 29-2 at the time.
I guess I try too hard to figure out why people are the way that they are.

This team went up to Palo Alto and took game 1 from the Cardinal in the Super Regional. They were one game from OKC. If you're gonna be fair, you also have to give them their due. That was with one of their best players out for a good chunk of the season.

100% with Coffey they would have been in the WS…all that is true. I think some ppl like me want to see more consistency in the SEC, I could care less about winning it however .500 isn’t acceptable either. There are only 2 explanations as to why they struggle in the SEC…either they or the staff chokes or they just aren’t as talented as the other teams..

I know LSU doesn't consistently make WCWS, merely a thought exercise.

Yes however your record in the SEC dictates whether you will be home for both regional and super regional rounds.

How dumb are some of you to not understand she has a completely new staff? Her main criticism was not making changes, and changes have happened.

That coaching change should have been made years ago but Beth was too loyal. It is nice that the bats are finally off their shoulders. Bryce has done a great job.
There were some bad mistakes Sunday that could have cost them the game but they pulled through.
The jury is out and the first real test will be ULL and this weekend against Kentucky.

Heavener has been awesome! I don't know what the other pitchers look like but the top 2 have been excellent.
