Pick your poison with the hitters. It’s amazing what a coaching change can do.

They were last year too.

Then SEC play began. I won’t hold my breath this year. Beth is gonna Beth.

They are so fast. Crazy. That little SS transfer from OU is damn good.

I knew this was coming. You don't have losses to bitch about, so you default to this.

Why are you a 'fan' of something that makes you so miserable?

I think that it is pretty obvious this is different...but we will know very soon.

The Kong of New Orleans is the alter to the KingBRLA. My suspicion. Nothing confirmed.

Probably.

I don't understand the mindset of these posters. There are a few that you never hear a peep out of until the team loses, then it's "yep. Told ya so. This team sucks as blah blah blah".

It's like Beth once stole their boyfriend or something personal.

This is the correct answer.

This does feel different. It's like after all these years, the offense is finally playing to match the ballpark. The wind blows in most of the time, especially later in the season, so instead of trying to hit HR, we hit a ton of singles and doubles and use our speed as an advantage.

This team has been super on defense (10 errors in 24 games) and Heavener looks like she can be a legit star with Berzon. I think what they are doing has a better chance to be sustainable than last year.

And for the haters, yes you are right. This is about the time last year it all went to shite (and they still made it to a super). But this is also about the time Coffey got hurt, and the offense never really recovered.

I think the Beth haters are going to be disappointed when all is said and done.

Someone needs to knock off OU. Until then, they are the team to beat

South Carolina came damn close 3 times this weekend but couldn't close the deal.

I really don't care where we finish in the league. The bitchers on here like to point out how we haven't won the league in forever. Who cares. When we went to OKC from 2015-17, we finished T4, 7, and T6 in the SEC. League record really isn't a big deal.

For some reason this team feels just different like they are the team to beat.

With all due respect, they've dominated pre-conference play every year. I'll reserve judgement until the end of the season.

THIS right here.

The Fighting TorinaMA's will most likely revert back to the Meds once SEC games initiate, but hopefully they'll be a little more competitive minus Dobson. .

And.........Now there's Queen Oklahoma and Princess Texas to deal with.

They have completely abandoned Dobson’s launch angle model. It only lead to few more early season home runs then ton of weak pop outs once the competition got tougher.

They have leaned into what they are good at, which is working the gaps on a line and putting into the ball on the ground.

Good for them the young talent is playing much better than what the veteran talent was supposed to be last year. Good for Torina. Hope they keep it up and finish top 4 in SEC.

Honestly I've been praising her a lot more since Dobson and Leftwich left. I went and looked back at some records the last five years, and it was obvious change was needed. Torina absolutely deserved to feel heat if she wasn't going to change.

But Torina has changed, and she's still a great leader, pitching coach, and recruiter. I will certainly watch them again now that new blood is around the program.
