Briggs singled up the middle, advanced to second on the throw, 2 RBI; Coffey scored; Stewart scored
4-4 end of regulation

Walk pushes the winning run to 2nd.
MSU now changing pitchers.
In an obvious bunting situation Stewart does not show bunt. Instead takes two strikes down the middle then whiffs for strikeout.
Next batter tries to draw a walk, strikes out on full count swinging.
Coffee at the plate. Ball, strike, ball, ball. Walk.
Bases loaded.
Announcers say LSU has only had one walkoff the whole year.
Briggs at the plate. Bases loaded 2 outs. Briggs is the one who tied the game in the 7th. Ball, strike looking, foul, strike 3 looking.

shite. Nothing wrong with looking for a walk with the bases juiced, but your best hitter can’t sit there and look at pitches like that.

Horrible. Runners at 1st and 2nd and no outs in the Btm of 8 is a bunt situation 100% of the time.

Two wasted opportunities to win in the last two innings!
Hope that this not comes to bite us as in a recent game where Ali hanged in there and we couldn’t win in extra innings, and we lost..
