SEC tickets are $12.50 each and non conference and tourney days are $12.00 a ticket. This is a move to get peeps in the seats during non conference games but being paid for by the season ticket holders who remain. They same price for last year for SEC games this year. So anything beyond that it an increase in revenue. Many prime seating locations are bought by peeps who do not attend and this move lets the fans who want sit in the chair backs show up and pay the same price as a season ticket holder without a long term comittment. I would assume this is a dry run for the smaller crowd for softball but would envision the Box and the PMAC will be managed this way in the future. Hell what stops them in Tiger Stadium....
