They can't all be "immediate impact" players. There simply aren't enough spots for them all to. Beth has said Serrett & Sanchez are the middle infield of the future. It's only a matter of time before she replaces Connie permanently. Dawson will move to OF from the likes of it. Springfield is the only one coming in without current competition for her position.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a transfer in at 3B or C, as well as 1 or 2 players transfer out for PT somewhere else.

Don't remember Carley ever getting called for IPs and she's got two the last two games. Have they decided to over-emphasize it this weekend?

I know that but what I am saying is that they are all really good.

Amanda Doyle has a very big bat that is elite so she will be somewhere.

Dawson should and will be a starter from day one. She has the be lead off. Probably move her to right, and bring Serret in to short.

Jaquish has to I would think. I highly doubt Beth takes a top tier team into the season with no experience behind the plate.

Hence I said a transfer in wouldn't surprise me.

Already talking future? Might have to switch autos w/o LSU sticker to swim laps at UCLA today.

Could see Doyle at 3B, Serrett at SS, Sanchez at 2B. Springfield at 1B. Although Cunningham is an elite player so I would think she would be somewhere. Dawson likely will be in the outfield.

Its a good problem to have. I do think Jaquish and Cunningham will both be behind the plate next season. I don't think Beth would be afraid to play a freshman at catcher, if she is good.

Who knows
Lets just get through this season

Don't really want to. Just think it's absurd to make those types of statements. Are the incoming kids talented? Of course they are, or they wouldn't be going to LSU. These seasons are long. Things have to play out.
