I have to say, this is not the way it was with the team i played for. In high school, this would have devastated us, getting beat like that, playing that bad defensively, and then not hitting the ball... there wouldn't be no smiles from us.

I went to a few high school volleyball games, playoffs too, and was surprised at the lack of seriousness.

I am shocked. Really.

Game must resume by 9 eastern 8 central if not, will not be an official game. Gonna pull the tarp in 25 minutes and assess the situation then.

The position player situation could be seen from a mile away. I'm not real surprised and I am a bit shocked some of the die hard posters refused to acknowledge the issues or obstacles this team faces.

Maybe some competition

This, in my opinion, has been the root cause. We haven't seen any performance accountability for many players over the last few years. We have seen zero thinking outside of the box on how to get the best hitters in the line up. It is shameful that some have received the time in the line up they have.

We will win alot of games this year with the pitching staff. Hopefully something changes. Today has been an embarrassement on all fronts.

Are you really okay with this look? It be different if the umpires stepped in but its not

I don't want LSU softball to have the reputation or look of pussyin out of stuff, its a very bad look.

I don't want this game to count either but its just how it all unfolded that I don't like, if thats understandable

With the best hitters there is a major developmental problem of our hitters

What sucks is we looked like we begged for a delay when the umps should have been more proactive in stopping the game.

In their defense, they said on tv some of their players had classes in the afternoon and 5:30 local time was the earliest they could start.

I can only assume what the reason might be. Something has to change. Going to the WS for 4 years you would think all Beth has to do is reload. But there was no sign last year as to who was to be the next Bell, or Jaquish.

Agree, but this didn't start this weekend. Think about the performance of some of the players we have penciled in over the last few years. This takes at bats away from development of other players which limits development and depth.

This is a stubborn staff when it comes to this type of stuff. I really believe the only thing that will change the mentality toward this type of thing is the graduation of the two AA pitchers. Once they are gone the room for error they have allowed us to have for four years evaporates. Then, we will not be able to hide the massive position player deficiencies we have.

You can't hide bad players without superior pitching.

What is this "look" nonsense? I care about LSU, I don't care if Kentucky's fans, players, coaches are mad.

The ump could've just as easily told Torina play through, she didn't make them stop, it was raining harder than when UK was pitching, Carley was struggling with the grip.

People can and will think what they want, I can't control that.

My issue is no one looks to be developing

Serrett and Emily were phenomenal as freshman and have taken steps back with each year. Springfield hasn't been the same as last year. Sanchez didn't look that bad her freshman year and its been downhill there as well. Doyle and Andrews have been improved so far, we will see how they finish this year.

But My point is everyone shouldn't be getting worse, that screams a deeper problem IMO

What do you think it may be? I mean I have seen the list of recruits and their success in high school. Most are under performing.

No dobson deserves credit for all successes and failures, like the head coach. I believe in that.

Lets see where all these players end up by the end of the year, lets hope they all improve and none move backwards
