When a pitcher has to ask for a dry ball 5 pitches in s row then eventually a batters going to take one on the head. Just not safe for either team.
Torina may have tore this team down instead of boosting them up. She’s to rigid.
Dobson I think has given up on the girls. I think his temperament is real short lately.
Team need to have fun to win and not stress over the little things.

By next week the story will be that Torina and Carley turned on the sprinklers while flipping birds right in Lawson's face.

I will agree.

Whatever she is, it has worked for 6 years.

I doubt he has given up. There is almost half a season left.

Normally I would agree, but the team I watched for 4 innings didn't earn the right to have fun because there were about 8 "little things" that they totally screwed up on last night. There is a fine balance between being too hard on a team and killing their confidence and being too soft on a team and letting things slide. The 4 innings they played last night merit a strong, swift foot up the arse and any player who doesn't like it can sit on the bench and let someone else play. I don't think I have seen LSU play a worse game than they played for 4 innings last night since Torina has been here. The mental lapses in the first 2 innings were multiple and inexcusable. Not covering 1st base in an obvious sacrifice situation? Not having your senior pitcher cover home plate on a popup by the dugout? Not having your 3rd baseman touch 3rd base and get an inning ending force play and instead launch a throw to first base half way to Paducah? Certain posters love to tear down Sanchez, but before that play, she had only committed 3 errors all year and has made some great plays....but it was obvious the entire team was in a mental funk yesterday.

I don't think the answer to this past weekend is to sit in a circle, hold hands, sing camp songs, and tell the players how much you love them ,then have a dance party on the infield. The answer is to have a gathering and tell them that if they play like they did this weekend, then OKC is a pipe dream and they need to focus on every detail.

This team has plenty of talent and will come around. They always do. 2years ago they were swept in a 3 game series at home by....wait for it....Kentucky. LSU scored 0 runs alll weekend and left about 128 runners on base. Then, LSU went to Starkville and lost 7-2 to a very bad Miss. State team in a game that was similar to last night. What happened next? LSU went on an 11 game win streak and eventually went to OKC. Every team has a funk during a long season. No need to panic after this past weekend, but there is a need to get some players to shore up their business.

I don't think Dobson quit on them. I think, after Kentucky put up 4 runs, the players quit on themselves knowing they had no chance to score more than 4 runs and leave with a win. Theie actions in the dugout, the laughing and clapping, were sickening.

They were 23-2 three days ago. The constant melting here and other places distorts things.

She is a very tough coach to play for but she is pretty fun. All season she would meet with everyone in the circle and have all smiles and sometimes will joke. While she is ridiculous tough, she isn't always like that at all. But if a team has their heads in their arse, you better expect the coach who handed these kids a scholarship to come play to be called out for it. That isn't an issue

I have many issues with Dobson but this definitely isn't true. Never has given up on anyone, he does want them to succeed. Yes his temperament is very short because his offense is having some major problems and there is a lot of pressure coming from Torina to have it fixed. This hasn't just started either.

Yes they do, I just didn't like to see my LSU team who was down 7-0 only after 4 laughing in the dugout because we escaped a possible loss.

I know LSU's coaches and program all have a lot of class, just a bit surprised that I saw the stuff I did yesterday, hopefully we never see it again.

Bullied might of been harsh, but it was a bad look with all the laughing between coaches and players after a loss like that...
