Impressive comeback after the Texas meltdown and game one Florida loss. If LSU wins the Arkansas series they’re highly likely a national seed.

Walton must be the worst coach ever. Florida fans should march in the streets to run him off for blowing this series. s/
But seriously he did blow it by not going to Brown in relief

That was so satisfying watch UF completely fall apart. Nice win ladies!

Hate on Beth all you want, no one has taken as to more CWS and she may do it again this year. If we flail from here ok, but lets just see what happens.

Dumb question but that wasn’t 10 run rule, don’t they go seven innings? TIA

Well we got an offense this year to at least have a shot at it. Bryce has been a breath of fresh air. Just much more sound and competitive offensively across the board

Damn, you all can't fire her now. Maybe next game she loses...

One hell of a job by Beth, I’ve been critical but if ppl are honest and consistent they gotta give it up to her, her staff and team!! The biggest series win in 7 yrs

Gotta give them credit, they showed up to play. Hope they keep that momentum up

That is the thing about college baseball/softball. To get to the WS, you just need to be great for 2 weekends--regionals and super regionals. Yes, what leads up to that is important and helps you gain home field advantage if you do well enough, but it is who gets hot at the right time and who gets a few breaks.
Beth's first team in 2012 batted like .220 as a team, but they got the key hits and great pitching during the regionals and supers, both on the road, to get to OKC. She has had WAY better teams than that one NOT make it to OKC.
This team is good enough to make it to OKC this year. When she is right, Berzon is good enough to win 2 games in a regional and super-regional, especially if the offense is functioning well, as it has most of the year.
This team is also subject to a clunky weekend where they don't play great and lose the regional to some team with big bats who comes in on fire. or some team with an ace pitcher that we can't figure out.
At least it appears to be more wide open this year and not a forgone conclusion that Oklahoma will win it all. Every team , including Oklahoma, has warts of some sort.
Say what you want about Beth and her strategy and coaching, but her kids play their asses off for her and they don't quit. I hope these last 2 games are the start of a good run.

We been waiting to see what happens. Hope she proves many of us wrong. Haven't been there since 2017.

I agree with this, especially the part that the players play hard, sometimes .maybe too hard which may cause mistakes that they normally don't make. I've had teams do that during my career and it was a lot of work by the coaches to get that confidence and swagger back. Confidence is such a huge factor and momentum as well.
I liked a lot of things that I saw at the games I got to go see on our Texas Two Step, but I felt (and probably the players/coaches too) that when are we going to make a mistake. I drove over on Sunday and I saw a team that looked very hungry after that curb stomping on Saturday. Sometimes a dose of reality can jump start a team to play a little looser, with a nothing to lose attitude.
We are going to be in the NCAA tournament and I was always of the mindset that I didn't care if I have to go on the road in the playoffs. (I always enjoyed ending a team's season on their home field.) So we don't have anything to lose, so why not play that way and I saw that Sunday and especially last night...
Now we need to take that momentum to Fayetteville this weekend and it will all be better.
