I disagree. Torina has done this every year. Not a surprise at all. Win tomorrow, take 2 out of 3 and get ready for Texas A&M or South Carolina on Wednesday at SEC's.

In regards to pitching, I have absolutely no idea. Whoever pitches tomorrow is unlikely to go on Wednesday, so I think it will be Hoover or Walljasper. If either, they have to wake up. Hoover has get control on that Riseball and Walljasper's inside pitches.

That may be the nail in the coffin on Connie at 2nd

She's been there all season, she ain't moving in the last game of the regular season.

it is a tad disappointing to see our Aces struggle

Carley pitched fine besides the high rise. Her defense let her down.

Four errors. Don't understand why Bell and Simmons don't charge the ball. I think at this point in the season the wear and tear on Walljasper is taking its toll. Plus, in her sophomore season, opponents have figured her out. Unlike her freshman year when she was an unknown.

I think her primary reason for staying was her bat, but she has to get it going. Love her passion, energy, and commitment. She is a piece of the puzzle and we need her, but it has to get going.

It has been her high rise over the last few games, especially in crucial situations. Considering the competition, we were able to shake it, but in the next few weeks, it has to be cleaned up.

Her ERA is .18 higher than last year.

If the ladies win tomorrow and Mizzou loses, LSU should grab the 6th seed for the tournament right? They would finish with the same SEC record, but LSU would have a better overall winning percentage.

BTW, Mizzou has some drama with their softball program currently.

That has nothing to do with it.

The tie breaker would be head to head, which doesn't exist between LSU and Missouri. In that case, they would go to the top of the standings and compare your record vs. common opponents. They have 2 common opponents above them: Alabama and Kentucky.

LSU won 2 vs. Alabama, Missouri won 1. Advantage LSU.

LSU won 0 vs. Kentucky, Missouri won 1. Advantage Missouri.

So if LSU and Missouri end up in a tie, and Alabama finishes ahead of Kentucky, LSU is the 6th seed. If Kentucky wins tomorrrow and Alabama loses, Missouri is the 6th seed.

Yea Serrett is a natural SS. She charges the ball and takes very good angles. She should be back at SS tomorrow and the rest of the season, we need her there.

I know Quinn has played at 2nd all year but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Bourg or Sanchez in that spot going into this post season. These errors have plagued us the last two seasons and we don't need to be giving any more free outs.

As for pitching, I still won't hit the panic button just yet. They will be fine, Walljasper and Hoover are big time pitchers and I am sure Torina will work out these issues. Smith definitely is the highlight of our pitching staff lately. We will need to rely on her more a lot more than people will expect.
